Counselling Eurobodalla Shire, South Coast
Growing up in Moruya, and around Eurobodalla Shire, I had a wonderful childhood and great loving family, enjoying the beaches and bush. Having moved back to the South Coast I am appreciating the area but even more the people that live here as well. I have always been interested in everyone and their life stories, their journeys thus far, how they got here, their adventures and what makes them tick.

Counselling has been a very important part of my life - from conversations with close friends to the professional help received from counsellors and psychologists. In the past I have suffered from anxiety and depression and without the help of counselling would have continued to suffer. When I am able to help people, in the way I have been supported, it is incredibly rewarding. From life's little problems through to the big scary seemingly insurmountable ones I am here to listen and often that's all that's needed for you to get clarity and feel your own power.

I'm here to walk alongside you on your own unique path. Whether it's untangling the knots of everyday challenges or confronting personal hurdles, I offer a safe space to be heard without judgment. Together, we can explore the tools and strategies you need to build your inner strength and embrace your journey ahead.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have counselled me over the years. Life is about loving and caring for yourself, and I love nothing more than supporting those around me to deepen those skills in and for themselves.

So, if you're ready to step into your own strength and embrace your life, the journey and the people around you, let's begin.
Ask me about Brian...
I have suffered from depression and anxiety. And one day I emailed a friend to let her know that my brain was screaming at me that morning about how rubbish I was, a terrible mother, terrible daughter, terrible person in all aspects of my life – really helpful stuff…except I am not a great typist, and I wrote – “My Brian is screaming at me today”.

And she replied, “Damn Brian, tell him to bugger off!”

From this we suddenly had our own version of what is also called or known as the Inner Critic, self-doubt, the angel/devil on our shoulders, head gremlin, depression demon, the saboteur, the inner judge, limiting beliefs or even your ego.
We called it The Brian Theory. It has become a fun thing we do to help us separate the terrible thoughts and things we said to ourselves as not something we should say to ourselves. These thoughts do not help us feel good about ourselves. We would listen to each other and humorously make the other aware when we heard their Brian talking, not the person’s true self.

With the counselors I worked with, and using the Brian Theory with my friend, I have been able to slowly heal from my depression and anxiety. I was inspired to train as a counselor to help others because of the hugely positive effect counselling support has had on my mental health and life.
